Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept new clients?
Yes. I am currently accepting new clients for select services. Availability may vary, and certain services (such as color corrections) require a consultation prior to booking.
Are consultations required before booking color services?
Yes. Color consultations are mandatory for all new clients booking any color service. This ensures proper timing, pricing, and realistic expectations while prioritizing the health of your hair.
Can I book a color consultation online?
Yes. Color consultations can be booked online. However, color correction services must be scheduled directly through me following a consultation.
What is considered a color correction?
A color correction includes any service that requires correcting or undoing previous color work, including box color, banding, uneven tones, overly dark or light results, or significant color changes. Color corrections are complex and often require multiple sessions.
How are color corrections priced?
Color corrections are billed at $150 per hour with a minimum of three hours to begin. Due to the unpredictable nature of corrective work, results are not guaranteed and pricing will vary based on time and complexity.
Can color corrections be done in one appointment?
In many cases, no. Color correction is often a multi-session process to ensure the integrity and health of the hair. A long-term plan will be discussed during your consultation.
Do you guarantee color results?
No. Due to variables such as hair history, prior chemical services, and at-home color use, results cannot be guaranteed. Every service is performed with expert care and integrity in mind.
What happens if my hair becomes compromised during a service?
Your hair health is always the top priority. I reserve the right to stop a service at any time if the hair shows signs of compromise such as excessive dryness, breakage, shredding, or melting.
What services do you specialize in?
I specialize in precision haircutting, custom blondes, low-maintenance color, and hair health-focused services, with an emphasis on education and long-term results.
Where are you located?
Tiffany’s Hair & Co. is located inside Maison de Burgundy in Lake Oswego, Oregon.
How do I book an appointment?

Appointments can be booked online through my website. Certain services require approval or a consultation prior to booking.

What services require a consultation before booking?
All color services for new clients require a consultation. Color corrections and major color changes also require an in-depth consultation prior to scheduling.
What should I do if I’m unsure which service to book?
If you’re unsure which service is best for you, booking a consultation is the best first step. This allows us to discuss your hair history, goals, and maintenance expectations before selecting a service.
Can I book multiple services in one appointment?
Yes. Multiple services can be booked together as long as adequate time is scheduled. Some combinations may require approval or a consultation prior to booking.
What if I’ve previously colored my hair at home or had services done elsewhere?
Please disclose all previous color history, including box color and chemical treatments, during your consultation. This information is essential for safe and realistic results.
How long will my appointment take?
Service times vary depending on hair length, density, previous color history, and desired results. Accurate timing will be discussed during your consultation.
Can I request a specific result or inspiration photo?
Yes. Inspiration photos are welcome and helpful. During your consultation, we’ll discuss what is achievable based on your hair’s current condition and history.
Will I need multiple appointments to achieve my desired look?
In some cases, yes. Services such as blonding and color correction may require multiple sessions to maintain the health and integrity of the hair.
What happens if my hair is not a good candidate for a service?
Hair health is always the top priority. If a service is not safe or appropriate, alternative options or a long-term plan will be discussed.
How should I maintain my hair between appointments?
Home care and maintenance recommendations will be provided at the end of your appointment to help preserve your results and hair health.
Do you offer consultations for maintenance or future planning?
Yes. Consultations are available for clients who want to discuss future services, maintenance plans, or major changes.

Haircut Booking FAQ

How to Choose the Proper Haircut Experience

Why are haircuts booked by time instead of haircut name?
Every head of hair is unique. Hair density, texture, length, and the amount of change desired all impact how much time is needed. Booking by time ensures your haircut is never rushed and allows for precision, customization, and a relaxed luxury experience.
How do I know which haircut time to choose?
Choose based on hair density and complexity, not just length. Maintenance trims and softer shapes typically require less time, while textured transformations, precision cuts, or thicker hair require extended time for proper shaping and refinement.
What haircut time is best for maintenance or a trim?
If you’re maintaining your current style within 6–8 weeks, booking a shorter time option is ideal. This includes trims, long layers, lobs, and soft textured haircuts on fine to medium-density hair.
When should I book extra time?

Extended time is recommended if you:

  • Have thick, coarse, or curly hair
  • Are changing your shape significantly
  • Want a textured cut such as a shag, mullet, or pixie transformation
  • Need corrective reshaping
  • Prefer a slower, more detailed experience
What if I’m unsure which option to select?
If you’re unsure, choosing the longer time option is always recommended. You’re also welcome to reach out prior to booking for guidance—we’re happy to help you select the experience that best suits your hair and goals.
Can my haircut time be adjusted during the appointment?
If additional time is needed to achieve your desired result, your service may be adjusted accordingly. This ensures your haircut receives the care and attention it deserves.
Why does hair density matter when booking a haircut?
Hair density directly affects shaping, blending, and detailing. Thicker or curlier hair requires more time to cut properly, ensuring balance, longevity, and ease of styling at home.
